2nd INTER-DEPARTMENTAL SPORTS MEET COMMENCES AT LONGLENG

Longleng 2nd Inter-Departmental Sports meet, organised by the Officers Club, commenced on 29th November 2022 at Multi-purpose Hall Longleng with M. Shami Angh, PPC president as special guest.

Angh said one should strive to leave behind positive impact rather than create negative impression in the society. When we talk particularly about games & sports we should not simply play out of compulsion but rather choose to use our talents judiciously and keep working hard to sharpen our gifts and achieve our goals.

Involving in sports and games give a sense of relief physically and mentally so people should develop the habit of engaging in it, he added.

He also lamented the poor travel connectivity for many people including sports people because of the poor road conditions.

Dr. Aoyimsen Jamir, VS and Chairman Organising committee said the keynote address and Chinglung S Phom presented a special number. The invocation was pronounced by Philips Nyam, Development Secretary PBCA, and the programme was chaired by Enyuh Phom, DDMA District Administration.
