2nd PHASE TRAINING FOR POLLING PERSONNEL UNDERWAY AT KOHIMA

The second phase training for polling personnel after the grouping began today the 23rd October 2020 in DC's Conference Hall and DPDB's Conference Hall Kohima.

General Observer for the Bye-Election to the 14 Southern Angami I (ST) Assembly Constituency, S K Pradhan (IAS) and Deputy Commissioner Kohima Mohammed Ali Shihab A also made a visit to oversee the training progress.

During the training session, the polling personnel were briefed on various guidelines and SOP related to polling process for the safe conduct of Bye-Election amidst Covid-19 pandemic by the resource persons from Medical Department and District Level Master Trainers. Other safety protocols and precautionary measures to be taken care for the safety of polling personnel and the electors were also highlighted by the resource persons.

The training for reserve polling personnel will continue to have on the 24th October 2020.
