The 30th presentation ceremony of the Mayangnokcha Awards for Academic Excellence took place at the Town Hall in Mokokchung on August 8, 2023. The event was organized by the Mayangnokcha Award Trust (MAT).

The Guest of Honour for the occasion was Temjenmenba, MLA and Advisor to the Government of Nagaland. In his address, he praised the determination and efforts of Mayangnokcha in championing education as a means of bringing about positive change. He encouraged young achievers and students to emulate Mayangnokcha's resolute focus on education to succeed in life. He also emphasized the broader scope of education encompassing values learned from parents, teachers, and predecessors, which shape a truly educated society.

Dr. Sunep Imchen, CVO Mokokchung, and member MAT presented an eulogy of Mayangnokcha and highlighted the trust's vision to perpetuate his memory and values throughout various professions.

The Guest of Honour presented MAT 2023 Awards to recipients, recognizing their outstanding academic achievements across various subjects and fields.
