District Process Lab-Zunheboto and a three-day training programme was organised by District Process Lab-Zunheboto in collaboration with District Administration on 16th September, 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall, Zunheboto.
The training was in line with the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, a Mission-Driven Cadre for Tribal Empowerment, initiated under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt of India, which was earlier launched at the state level
While delivering the overview in the launching programme, Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, Dharam Raj and District Master Trainers briefly highlighted on the Abhiyan that, Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan is a national movement to build a decentralized tribal leadership and governance ecosystem. Spearheaded by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, it empowers 20 Lakh tribal changemakers across 1 Lakh villages in 550 tribal-dominated districts through capacity building, convergence and community participation. Further, the Abhiyan Portal serves as the digital backbone of this mission enabling registration, training, monitoring, and transformation at scale, he said.
Deputy Commissioner, on culmination of his overview, appealed to the trainees to make the most of the training programme with sincerity and with an aim to serve to make the Abhiyan a grand success.
Furthermore, the trainees were sensitised on the importance of three Pillars of Leadership, which were the Adi Karmayogi comprising of government officers, key drivers of governance at State, District, Block, and Panchayat levels who ensure convergence of schemes, institutional support, and responsive delivery; Adi Sahyogi comprising of youth, teachers, doctors and motivated service providers and educated tribal youth who bridge access to education, health, awareness, and innovation; and Adi Saathi comprising of SHG Members (NRLM), Villagers, Tribal Elders who are the grassroots changemakers and community anchors who mobilize people, preserve traditions, and uphold local wisdom.
The DMTs further highlighted on Abhiyan's objectives which were to train and mobilize 20 Lakh Tribal Leaders, establish 1 Lakh Adi Sewa Kendras - Single Window Tribal Service Centres, facilitate Village Vision 2030 Planning & Development Action Plan, promote last-mile convergence & effective service delivery and to Capture & amplify voices of tribal communities.
Later, the second session comprised of an activity based training period which would continue till 18th September 2025.
