The family welfare of 4th NAP Bn. Thizama joined the global community in celebrating International Women’s Day on 8th March 2023. As part of the celebration, 117 members of family welfare led by the lady wife of Commandant 4th Nap Bn. Kevisiu participated in the celebration. 

Guest speaker, Daisy Mezhur Sekhose Rtd. Secretary NSSWB in her speech highlighted the year’s theme “Embrace Equity” and stressed the importance of recognizing and addressing the unique challenges and experiences of women. Based on her life experiences, she encouraged the women present to go beyond the boundaries of just being a housewife and gave constructive criticisms covering broad aspects from personal hygiene to time and money management. 

To show their solidarity and support for embracing equity, a group photograph was taken with every individual woman striking the embracing pose with their arms hugging their shoulders.
