The 6th Inter-Departmental badminton championship 2023 was held from 26th to 27th May 2023 from Indoor Badminton Stadium, Wokha.

45 players from 12 departments participated in the championship, which was organized by Wokha District Sports Council.

Following are the results of the championship: Singles (Women) champions - Nsungbeni (DSO), Runner’s Up- Khumjano (DEF). Women’s Double Champions - Alice & Tiarenla (Education), Runner’s Up -Bendangrenla & Mhonlumi (CMO). Mix Double’s Champions – Nsungbeni & Libemo (DSO), Runners up – Nzantso & Alice (Education). Men’s Single Champions – Roben (Education), Runners up – Shanjothung (Administration) and Men’s Double Champions – Benathung & Ashonthung (7th NAP), Runners up - Sedevizo & Libemo (DSO)

Chief Medical Office was adjudged the Best Discipline Team of the 6th Inter-Departmental Badminton Championship 2023.
