The 77th Republic Day was celebrated at Nagaland House, New Delhi on 26th January 2026. Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs, K. G. Kenye gracing the occasion as the Special Guest, unfurled the National Flag.
Addressing the gathering, Minister K. G. Kenye reminded the significance of the occasion, which is to mark the day the Constitution of India, came into force. Nagaland being the 16th State of India, he added, is doing its best to bring development in all fronts. He further exhorted the citizens to uphold the ideals of the nation and its aspirations.
Joint Resident Commissioner, NH New Delhi, Sharon Longchari led the celebration which was also attended by children, senior officers and staff of NH New Delhi.
