The 77th Republic Day was celebrated at RSA Ground, Tseminyu on 26th January 2026 with Hekani Jakhalu, Advisor Industry & Commerce Government of Nagaland as the Special Guest who unfurled the National flag, took Rashtriya salute from 6 (six) Parade contingents and and delivered the Republic Day speech.
The Parade contingents included 4th NAP (A) coy, GHSS-NCC, Baptist Higher Secondary School -NCC, DBS-NCC, Christian School Tseminyu and Ex-servicemen.
The Special Guest also inaugurated exhibition stalls set up by various departments and visited the district hospital & orphanage home.
Other highlights of the programme were: special no. presented by music academy Tseminyu, folk song by Kasha Daho Tseminyu Unit.
The exhibition match (Futsal) was play between DC staff Vs SP team Tseminyu, Officers team Vs Pastors team, DBs Vs GBs and Rengma Selozi Vs RSU.
