The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated at Atoizu Town, with Additional Deputy Commissioner Atoizu, Nukutulu S. Venuh, NCS as the Chief Guest.
He unfurled the National Flag and took the Rashtriya Salute from the Police and delivered the Republic Day speech. The National Anthem was presented by the Students’ Union Atoizu Town (SUAT).
To mark the occasion, the national flag was unfurled in all the government offices and institutions in the morning. The programme concluded with the Beating of Retreat ceremony.
