The State Government of Nagaland celebrated its 62nd Statehood Day at Secretariat Plaza on 1st December 2024.

Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio inaugurated the stalls exhibited by various government departments and agencies.

Commemorating the Statehood Day, the Department of Information and Public Relations showcased the Activities and Achievements of the State Government since 1963 through Photo exhibition. The Photo includes State Inauguration in 1st December 1963, Statehood Day celebrations, Districts of Nagaland, Nagaland Heritage Village Kisama, Hornbill Festivals, Development - Past and Present, Office Inauguration, Visit of 16th Finance Commission and Aerial View of Kohima Town.

Government departments stalls includes the Nagaland Institution of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMSR), Department of Agriculture exhibiting various gender friendly agricultural machineries and equipments for the farmers and T.Khel Kohima Village, Kohima RD Block exhibited the local products supported by Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Department of Rural Development (RD).
