The office of the Chief Veterinary Officer, Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Tseminyu successfully conducted a free anti-rabies vaccination campaign at Rengma Students’ Union (RSU) office premises at Tseminyu on 2nd February 2026 with the objective of preventing rabies and safeguarding public health.

The campaign was organised under ASCAD 2024-25, implemented during 2025-2026. During the campaign, a total of 145 dogs were vaccinated free of cost. The free anti-rabies vaccination campaign was conducted by Dr. Gwathonlo Tsela, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Tseminyu and his team.
