The District Administration Niuland, Mission Shakti- Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), in collaboration with District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Niuland, successfully organised an Awareness Campaign on the Prevention of Child Marriage on account of Akshay Tritiya at the Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall, Niuland on 8^th May 2025. 

Chaired by S Boloka Jimo (SFL, DHEW), the program featured a keynote address by Kelengunuo Solo, NCS, Extra Assistant Commissioner, Niuland. Resource persons, Hitoka Swu, JJB member, Niuland, and Kali Shohe, Supervisor, Child Helpline, DCPU, delivered insightful presentations on initiatives to prevent child marriage. The event convened representatives from various apex organisations and stakeholders, underscoring the collective effort to address this critical issue. By fostering discussion, sharing best practices and collaboration, the campaign aimed to prevent child marriage and ensure a brighter future for Niuland's children. The District Administration, Mission Shakti-BBBP, DHEW, and DCPU reiterate their commitment to collaborative efforts in preventing child marriage and promoting child well-being in the region.
