The Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection, Zunheboto, Nagaland, conducted an awareness programme on the theme “Accurate Measurement, Safe Products – Confident Consumers” at GHSS Pughoboto on April 9, 2026.
The programme aimed to educate students and the public on the importance of accurate measurement and consumer rights to ensure safety and fairness in the marketplace.
The event began with an introductory address by the Principal of GHSS Pughoboto. This was followed by a speech on the theme delivered by the Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection, Zunheboto, who highlighted the significance of proper measurement standards and the role of consumers in safeguarding their rights.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Inspector, LM&CP, Zunheboto, Er. Pukhai L Swu expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers for making the event a success.
