The Ministry of MSME, Government of India, MSME Development & Facilitation Office, Dimapur in association with DIC, Mon District organised a one-day awareness workshop under PM Vishwakarma at DIC’s Conference Hall, Mon on 19th February 2026.
During the Technical Session, Chief Manager SBI Mon, Robert Zosangliana addressed the gathering on Financial Literacy and Banking Matters. He briefs the criteria for PM Vishwakarma loan.
Manager SCK (IDAN) Mon, Mopa Talem Konyak N spoke on Entrepreneurship Development and Marketing Strategies. He called upon the people to be successful in their business, and to focus more on OPEX (Operating Expenses) rather than CaPEX (capita investment). He also highlighted the Chief Minister’s Micro Finance Scheme and the criteria of loan.
Inspector of Industry DIC Mon, Mansa Walim shared the Schemes under MSME and State Government, while the Project Associate RAMP, M.L. Daniel spoke on boarding of PMV beneficiaries on UDYAM registration portal. He reminded the Artisan that UDYAM card is as important document like the Aadhaar Card and is mandatory for PM Vishwakarma Loan.
SPLMU, Lohe Lokajiia Victoria explained on QR Code Generation for PM Vishwakarma beneficiaries and urged all the Artisans to start their work as early as possible. She reminded them to be active and functional to avoid lost in their business.
Proprietor Ab’s Link and Washmart Mon, Y. Abraham Konyak shared the MSME Success Story. While narrating his business experiences, he asserted that profit alone is not a priority to be a successful business.
General Manager DIC Mon, Y. Shoyan Konyak delivered the Keynote Address. Welcoming the members, she extended her gratitude to the resource persons for rendering their service. She also reminded the gathering about Aspirational District and encouraged them to participate actively.
The programme was chaired by Project Associate RAMP, Anne Chopan, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Functional manager DIC Mon. M. Chingo. A total of 101 artisans participated in the workshop.
