An Awareness Workshop on PM Vishwakarma was organised by office of the District Industries Centre (DIC), Peren at Dobashi Customary Court, ADC Office, Jalukie on 20th February 2026. The workshop was aimed to enhance awareness and capacity among artisans and beneficiaries on entrepreneurship, marketing, digital formalisation and financial literacy.
General Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC), Peren, Kughato Sema, in his opening remarks highlighted the key objectives and significance of the scheme. He elaborated on the various provisions and benefits designed to support artisans and enhance their livelihoods. He encouraged participants to actively enrol under the scheme, work with sincerity and dedication, and fully avail the financial benefits provided. He emphasised that collective commitment and proper utilisation would ensure effective implementation and long-term impact.
EAC, Jalukie, Sizin Renttah delivered a short speech encouraging local craftsmen and entrepreneurs to take advantage of PM Vishwakarma and related initiatives to strengthen their economic activities.
Functional Manager, DIC, Peren, Namziulung Pamai conducted a detailed session on financial schemes under the Ministry of MSME and the State Government, outlining available assistance and support mechanisms.
DFS (Non-Farm Livelihoods), DMMU, Peren, Amos Newme led a session on marketing, branding, advertising and packaging, focusing on improving product value and market reach.
Field Officer, SBI Jalukie Branch, Lipoklemba Pongen presented a session on financial literacy and insights on banking matters, covering responsible financial practices and access to banking services.
Financial Analyst, RAMP Scheme, Kezhono elaborated on the benefits of onboarding PM Vishwakarma beneficiaries under Udyam Registration and QR Code integration.
The programme concluded with an interactive Q&A session on PM Vishwakarma conducted by Consultant, State Programme Management Unit, PM Vishwakarma, Suneptula, during which participants clarified their queries regarding the scheme and its implementation.
