Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio visited the media Facilitation Centre at Kisama on 3rd December 2024 as part of the ongoing Hornbill Festival 2024. The Centre set up by the Department of Information and Public Relations is a key initiative aimed at supporting journalist and media professionals covering the State’s premier cultural meet.

During the visit the Chief Minister interacted with media personnel and commended the Department of Information & Public Relations for creating a well-equipped hub for the press. The Centre provides high speed internet and dedicated workspace including coffee and snacks. The Chief Minister took the opportunity to inspect the facilities at the centre where he was also presented with a Hornbill Festival Media kit. It has been instrumental in helping media professionals covering the festival seamlessly.
