Chiephobozou Town Council in collaboration with District Administration has launched "Swachhata Hi Seva" Campaign on 17th September 2024 at Don Bosco School Auditorium, Chiephobozou Town.
Launching the Campaign on the theme: "Swabhav Swachhata Sanskar Swachhata" Deputy Chairperson, CTC, Kekhrieneinuo Catherine Zumvu has appraised the gathering about the significant milestone achieved as swatch Bharat mission celebrates its tenth anniversary. She encouraged the students to take confidence in every step they take forward towards cleanliness which would help on making a clean environment as Mahatma Gandhi dreamed of clean and developed mother India. Adding that it is every individual's duty to honour and serve our mother India by keeping the country neat and clean. She also announced the competition for all the students in Chiephobozou for essay competition and drawing competition under the topic “Cleanliness and Plastic Waste Management “
Delivering an Opening remark, EAC Chiephobozou, Khriethozo emphasized on clean nature, clean culture and appraised the students to learn and practise cleanliness. He urged the Students to spread the message of keeping the environment clean to their respective parents.
After taking the pledge, the Councillors of CTC has distributed sanitary items to the Students. The program was chaired by Keviselie Rüpreo, Executive secretary CTC; Invocation was pronounced by Rev. Fr. Richard Fernandez, Associate Priest St. Dominic Parish Chiephobozou; welcome Song was presented by DBS Students Chiephobozou and closing remark was delivered by Rev. Fr. N. Abraham, Principal DBS, Chiephobozou
