I am deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Shri Imkong L. Imchen, Hon'ble MLA and Advisor, Information & Public Relations and Soil & Water Conservation at Apollo Hospital, Guwahati today.

Late Shri Imkong L. Imchen had served the society in various capacities, as a student leader, public leader, Cabinet Minister, and as Advisor to the Government of Nagaland. In his death, the State has lost a dedicated and sincere leader.

On behalf of the people of Nagaland and my own behalf, I convey my deepest condolences to the bereaved family. May the Almighty God give grace and fortitude to bear this profound loss and grant them solace at this hour of pain.
