The Chiephobozou Sub-divisional Coordination meeting was held on 11th March 2026 under the chairmanship of ADC Chiephobozou, Alemyapang Longcha at the ADC’s Office Chamber.
ADC Chiephobozou, Alemyapang Longchar informed the members that a reconstitution of new village council would be conducted in the month of April 2026 and the House Listing for the Census will begin by the month of July 2026. He thanked all the departments for their efforts and initiatives carried out sincerely in their respective programs and departmental activities. He encouraged them to render their services diligently and to work with coordination and commitment for upliftment of the Sub-division.
The departmental activities was highlighted by Neinuo Zumu, Inspector of Food and Civil Supplies, where she mentioned that under the Ration Card (PHH and AAY) scheme, the priority Household (PHH) beneficiaries were provided with 5 kgs of food grains per member, and the Andyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) beneficiaries entitled under these schemes could procure the food grains from the fair price shops by performing transactions through the Aadhaar enable authentication in Epos device. She informed that under the National Food security Act 2023, Government of India has extended free distribution of food grains for the next five (5) years till December 2028.
