The Craft Demonstration cum Awareness Programme (CDAP) was inaugurated at Queen Mary's Higher Secondary School, Mokokchung on 6th February 2025. CDAP is a three-day workshop where students get the opportunity to learn the basics of craftsmanship from master trainers in various crafts.
The program is organised by Ministry of Textile, DC Handicraft in collaboration with District Industries Centre, Mokokchung with ADC Mokokchung, Chumlamo Humtsoe NCS as special guest.
Humtsoe in his speech stressed on the importance of skilling oneself to add value while seeking for employment.
The program was chaired by Renbenthung Kikon, Inspector of Industries, DIC Mokokchung and the welcome address was delivered by Fr. Sajimon, Principal of QMHSS.
Rajib Chandra Roy, Handicraft Promotion Office, DC Handicraft highlighted the schemes of DC Handicraft & benefits of artisans and artisan children.
