Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, NCS along with the Sr. Superintendent of Police, Kohima, Krodi Rhetso, and other administrative and police officers, met officials of the Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) and the Southern Angami Youth Organisation (SAYO) at the Viswema entry point to Dzukou on 16th January 2026.
During the visit, the district administration and police appreciated the sustained and dedicated efforts of SAPO, SAYO and volunteers involved in the search operation for the tourist from Tripura who has been missing since 4th January 2026. The officials also met the family members of the missing person and expressed solidarity and support during the ongoing search efforts.
