The third quarterly meeting of the Meluri District Disaster Management Authority was held on 27th November 2025 at DB's Court, Meluri.

            Deputy Commissioner, Meluri, K. Mhathung Tsanglao stressed about the scarcity of water in Meluri Town and suspension of bridge over River Tizu which carries the water pipe line was washed away by the flash flood during the last monsoon, cutting the life line of water supply to Meluri Town. He informed that the major concern at the present situation is restoration of water pipe line and requested the concern department as well as community participation in solving the issues at the earliest possible time.

            The meeting was attended by all head of the offices and Meluri Town Counsellors.
