A vehicle dedicated to supporting Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) and District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), Peren activities was inaugurated at the Deputy Commissioner's Office in Peren on 3rdDecember 2024.
During the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner and Chairperson, Mission Shakti Peren, Hiazu Meru explained that the vehicle will facilitate DHEW Peren's activities across all subdivisions of the district.
Speaking at the event, the District Program Officer, Social Welfare and Nodal Officer for Mission Shakti Peren, Tsungrosenla highlighted this development as a success story for the district, made possible through the District Level Committee for Mission Shakti Peren initiative.
The vehicle was formally dedicated by the Pastor Namreugwang of the New Peren Baptist Church.
