In a collective effort to promote cleanliness and sanitation, all 23 wards under the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) held a mass cleanliness drive in Dimapur on 28th September 2024 as part of the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign under Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0.

The cleanliness drive began early at 6:00 A.M with active participation from ward councillors, colony chairmen, Gaon Buras (GBs), youth organizations, and various NGOs. Residents, business establishments and traders also took part to clean their respective wards and business areas, ensuring the success of the initiative.
