Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur Dr. Tinojongshi Chang extended his heartfelt gratitude to all the participants and organizations involved in the Mass Social Work conducted across the district for the upcoming festive season. The event, held on November 22, 2024 saw remarkable cooperation from various departments, including the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), EDTC, Naga Council, Naga Women Hoho, G.Bs, and the chairpersons of wards and colonies.

Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Chang declared the social work effort a success, crediting the combined efforts of all stakeholders and citizens. He emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces and appealed to both residents and shopkeepers to uphold sanitation in their surroundings.

Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner urged restaurants and food vendors to prioritize hygiene to ensure a healthier environment for the public.

The mass social work campaign is part of the on-going efforts for the festive season, to enhance cleanliness and foster community responsibility in Dimapur district. Dr. Chang expressed optimism about continued collaboration among the public and organizations for a cleaner and greener Dimapur.
