A coordination meeting of the District Level Coordination Committee (DLCC) for the 8th Economic Census was held on 1st May 2025, at the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Longleng. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DLCC Longleng, W. Manpai Phom.

Dy. Director and District Economics & Statistics Officer Longleng, Nyushotho Nyuthe, highlighted an overview of the 8th Economic Census in the meeting. He also stated that the 8th Economic Census aims to provide comprehensive data on the operational and economic variables of non-agricultural establishments across various administrative levels.

The Chairman entrusted the DESO to prepare the framework for manpower arrangement, division of Enumeration Blocks and Urban Frame Survey and other requisites for the survey in consultation with the RD Department and Labour Department, and submit the same during the next DLCC Meeting scheduled on 14th May 25.
