A District-level Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camp under the Dharti Aaba Janbhadari Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JGUAL) was successfully conducted at the Council Hall, Kigwema Village, Kohima on 23rd June 2025. The initiative was organized by the office of the SDO-Sub- Divisional Officer (Civil) Jakhama, in collaboration with various line departments.

SDO (C), Jakhama,Vineikho Tetso  in his introductory remarks, highlighted the objective of the camp is to bring governance closer to the people and ensure that all eligible beneficiaries are covered under various government flagship schemes. He emphasized the importance of public participation, awareness, and inter-departmental coordination to achieve 100% benefit saturation at the grassroots level.

A key highlight of the event was the one-on-one interaction between beneficiaries and the line departments. On-the-spot services, enrolments, and registrations under various flagship schemes were carried out, enabling immediate access to welfare programs.

The camp served as a platform to strengthen the interface between citizens and goverment departments, fostering transparency, responsiveness, and efficiency in public service delivery.

During the program, the line departments from Medical,Deputy CMO Kohima  Dr. Imchatoshi, CDPO Jakhama, Zambemo Jami  and BDO Jakhama, Vilopi Sa spoke  on various government schemes. The program was attended by representatives from the following villages of the Southern Angami region under Kohima district were Kezoma, Kidima, Pfuchama, Phesama, Mima, Kigwema, Jakhama, Viswema, and Khuzama.

Earlier, welcome address was delivered by Balie Kere, Village Council Chairman, Kigwema while EAC Kezocha,Limakumla Pongener chaired  the program.
