The District Level Red Ribbon Quiz Competition was successfully conducted at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Meluri, on May 30, 2026. The programme was sponsored by the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) and organized by DISHA, Phek, with the objective of creating awareness among students on HIV/AIDS, healthy lifestyles, and responsible behaviour.

The programme was graced by EAC Meluri, Pipfusa Pojar, NCS, as the Special Invitee. Speaking on the occasion, Pojar commended the efforts of NSACS and DISHA in promoting awareness and empowering young people through educational programmes. She encouraged the students to make informed decisions and contribute positively towards building a healthy and responsible society.

Delivering the keynote address DPO DISHA, Phek, Kuduvo Kezo, highlighted the importance of HIV/AIDS awareness among the youth and encouraged students to become informed ambassadors in their communities.

The quiz competition was conducted by Temjensen Jamir, Counsellor, OST DH Phek. The programme concluded with words of encouragement and prize distribution to the winners by the Special Invitee. While Hierhotho Kajiri, DIS, DISHA Phek, chaired the event.
