MLA & Advisor, Department of Social Welfare, Wangpang Konyak, inaugurated the District Programme Officer (DPO) Office Kiphire on 8th May 2025, in the presence of Secretary, Social Welfare, Bodeno S Colo NCS and Director Social Welfare, Tosheli Zhimomi.
MLA & Advisor, Wangpang Konyak, expressed his happiness on the successful completion of the Office building and urged the officers and staff to utilize it and serve the downtrodden and vulnerable sections of the society sincerely.
Director Social Welfare, Tosheli Zhimomi chaired the inaugural programme and exhorted the officers and staff to be sincere in their assigned duties and also welcomed and thanked all the department staff and stakeholders present in the programme.
The Office building was dedicated by Allison, Pastor KTBC North Zone Kiphire. MLA & Advisor was accompanied by Secretary and Mission Director, Mission Shakti, Bodeno S Colo NCS, Director, Social Welfare, Tosheli Zhimomi, Joint Secretary and Project Director Poshan Abhiyaan, Society Welfare, Olemjungla, Joint Director, Social Welfare, Imkongzenla, Assistant Director, Society Welfare, Akali Sema, Assistant Director, Social Welfare Hebou Rio, State Coordinator, Mission Shakti, Gracy Aye, Programme Manager SCPS, Raitali and State Consultant, State Project Management Unit (SPMU) Poshan Abhiyaan, Temjen Ao. After the inaugural program, they proceeded for the inspection of various Social Welfare Centres at Kiphire Town.
