Deputy Chief Minister, in charge of National Highway, T.R Zeliang visited Shamator on 12th November 2024 and had an interaction with tribal leaders, village council representatives and various NGO organizations at Cultural hall Shamator town.

Zeliang acknowledged village councils and leaders for their remarkable contribution towards on-going National Highway Project covering five district of Nagaland. He appealed to the villagers not to obstruct the National Highway Road but to maintain peace and cooperation with the Government and also with the contractors till the completion of work.
