A farewell programme was held in honour of UPA-Lokayukta, Special Secretary (Rtd), Khanrinla T. Koza at Nagaland Lokayukta office on 13th March 2026.
In her farewell address, she acknowledged God for his mercy and grace, enabling her to complete the 3 years term as UPA Lokayukta, Nagaland. She also expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister, Dr. Niephiu Rio for giving her the opportunity to serve in this office.
Koza said the dynamics of working with such young officers full of drive, so willing to work hard, so focussed on career progression has been such a pleasant work experience for her. Their firm commitment to uphold the integrity of the office has encouraged her heart and given hope that the organisation has the potential to shine and be an example, she noted.
She also urged all the officers and staff to continue and uphold the principles and objectives of the Nagaland Lokayukta, to check corruption and ensure good governance, adding that, the organisation must continue to effectively address public complaints and grievances pertaining to corruption in public office.
Koza encouraged all to continue to work with integrity, diligence, serving to give and finding purpose in their work regardless of whether validation or acknowledgement is given.
She urged them to be intentional in integrating their Christian values in their secular workplace setting by demonstrating and fostering mutual love and respect which will go a long way in creating a good work environment.
She also mentioned that, the Nagaland Lokayukta office was established in 2019 and that, there is still much work to be done to bring to its proper shape and entity and appealed everyone to give good assistance and support to the organisation.
She also expressed her gratitude for the love, support and cooperation they have extended during her tenure.
Earlier, words of appreciation to the outgoing officer were also delivered by the Director & DIGP, Oponlumi Humtsoe, Secretary, Arikumba and Lokayukta, Nino Iralu.
