According to Fire Brigade Department Kiphire, outbreak of fire was reported at the Mandir of 41 Assam Rifle, Kiphire on 22nd April 2025. The fire call was received at 8:27 PM on 22nd April 2025 from 41 Assam Rifles Kiphire. According to the eye witness and evidence, the cause of fire is reported to be due to electrical short circuit, resulting to severe damage of the Mandir.
Two water Tenders and sufficient manpower from Fire Station Kiphire successfully managed to contained the fire in about 1 hour and 15 minutes, preventing it from spreading to adjacent areas. No casualties were reported during the incident.
