GHSS Phek celebrated Teachers' Day at Town Hall Phek on 5th September 2025 with the theme "Inspiring the next Generation of Learners".
Addressing the celebration program, Senior Principal, GHSS Phek, Kumar Uma Shankar spoke on the significance of teachers' Day and lauded the name of Dr. S. Radhakhrishnan, born on 5th September and was an exemplary teacher and Philosopher who always identified himself as a teacher, despite his significant political achievements as India's second President whose birth anniversary became Teachers' Day, that Kumar stated.
Sr. Principal of GHSS Phek, therefore, encouraged the teachers to be proud of being teachers as builders of the Nation. He also spoke about the power of knowledge, which everyone earned from teachers.
Desi Dance, Entertainment and presentation of special song were the highlights of the celebration program.
A welcome song was presented by Higher Secondary/Science students, where a special prayer for Teachers was also conducted at the program.
Mutseveto and Tekhepe-u were co-hosts of the program. Kezivi, Science Teacher of GHSS Phek received a Meritorious award for dedication in his teaching services at the celebration program.
