The Home Department has issued a circular proposing a mass social work to be held at Kohima on 22nd November 2024 starting at 6:00 AM.

In a meeting held at the Home Commissioner’s office, Kohima on 20th November 2024, Home Commissioner, Vyasan R. IAS called for active participation of all the departmental officers and staff at their respective designated areas. He said that all government employees should compulsorily take part in the social work and strict attendance will be taken by the department concerned.

The departments were also directed to inspect their designated areas in advance and bring/arrange equipment/tools as needed to make the mass social work a success.

Shops/ business establishments will remain closed till 12:00 noon. Therefore, the owners/proprietors have been asked to clean their shops/premises building during the closure time.

 The public have been also requested to take active part in the mass social work in theirown wards and colonies.
