District Administration of Shamator under Mission Shakti  observed the International Girl Child Day on 9th October 2024 under the theme" Culture Connects" at Cultural Hall Shamator Town. 

Essay writing competition on 'Empowering the Girl child for a better Future', extempore Speech on 'The power of Girls in Leadership and Innovation' and painting competition on 'Super Girl' were held from various schools under Shamator District.

EAC, Kudazo felicitated the Young Girl Achiever and gave away the prizes. A short speech on girl child was delivered by Deputy Commissioner Shamator, I. Chubatemjen, NCS.
