Juro Coffee House announces the opening of a new ‘live roaster roastery unit’ marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion. The new addition marks Juro’s commitment to provide a hub for coffee innovation and driving market growth.
Minister for Public Health Engineering Department and Cooperation, Nagaland, N. Jacob Zhimomi inaugurated Live Coffee Roastery at Juro Coffee House, CT Square 7th Mile Chumoukedima on 17th January 2025. Highlighting the importance of supporting emerging entrepreneurs in Nagaland, Jacob stated that there is immense potential in entrepreneurship as means of economic growth, and expressed his concern that our Naga entrepreneurs today are pushing the boundaries and setting the bar high which is an extremely encouraging scene. He appreciated Searon Yanthan, Proprietor of Jüro Coffee House and Roastery for going the extra mile and putting the Nagaland coffee scene on the global map. With a seamless and integrated coffee supply chain, the company is providing employment to Naga youth as well as meaningful income to our local coffee farmers, Jacob added.
Proprietor of Juro Coffee House and Roastery, Searon Yanthan shared the inspiring story behind Juro’s founding, reaffirming the company’s mission to “source, roast, and brew the finest coffee beans from the lush farms of Nagaland.” Yanthan expressed pride in Juro's ability to highlight the unique flavours of Nagaland’s coffee, while also contributing to local agricultural development.
The ceremony also featured a special address from Yanpuvo Kikon, Founder of Kikonic Tech Pvt. Ltd. and KLEY Enterprise (Westside Nagaland). Kikon commended Juro’s rapid growth and its success in effectively integrating the primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors, positioning the company as a key player in Nagaland’s coffee industry.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Kilum Yanthan, Director of Lithanro Pvt. Ltd., who expressed gratitude to all guests and supporters.
With the new Roastery Floor, Juro is poised to expand its reach, offering exclusive, high-quality coffee creations while promoting sustainable, local farming practices. The expansion marks a major step forward in Juro’s mission to put Nagaland on the map as a leading coffee destination.
