The Kiphire District Planning & Development Board meeting for the month of September was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer at DPDB hall, Kiphire on 12th September 2024.
The DC extended a warm welcome to the members present and requested the new members for self-introduction to the board.
DC highlighted about the visit of the Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman to the district in the month of October, where she will also be visiting Pungro and adjacent areas. ADC Kiphire, Longdiba L. Sangtam also highlighted the departmental wise work distribution and preparation for the visit of the Finance Minister and opening of Exhibition Stalls from various NGOs and SHGs respectively.
EAC, Takatemjen Pongen spoke on "Shiksha Mitra Samarthan Abhiyan: Nurture the Future". Adopt a school today and help transform tomorrow.
Sukanya MGn Fellow, Kiphire highlighted works under Aspirational Block to be carried out at the rural areas of the district. SDEO, Kiphire also spoke in the meeting.
DC in his concluding remarks, reminded all the DPDB members to be at the station and be always available to extend their service for the visit of the Finance Minister and other activities of the district.
