The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Kiphire and line departments, has reported the following damages caused by landslides in various part of the district.
As per reports received as of 20th July 2026, a total of 9 houses were damaged by landslides, including 7 in Kiphire and 2 in Pungro, Retaining Walls at Tsuwong Ward, Pungro and Seyochung Village were also damage.
Road Connectivity has also been affected, with road blockages along O2 Road, Pungro, Penkim - Fakim Road and road leading to Zisaji Presidency College, Kiphire.
Emergency Response and Relief operations has been undertaken including Road clearance work, issuing of SDRF forms and providing Tarpaulins.
