The launching programme of SaiSure Multinutrient Health Mix to School Children under PM Poshan was held at Government Middle School, Peren Town Block under Peren District on 26th September 2024.
Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, National Manager, Allath Santosh in his address spoke on the importance of nutrition in growing children and how daily morning nutrition can make a difference in the growth and development of the child. He also emphasized on how SaiSure multinutrient supplement would aid in improving the health of the children. Santosh also said, in order to get rid of the problem of malnutrition among children in our country, it requires the collective efforts and sacrifice of everyone.
During the launching program, Deputy Commissioner, Peren, Hiazu Meru lauded the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust and state Education department for the initiatives and giving due importance to enhance healthy nutrition to school going children. He spoke on national education policy 2020 that aims to transform the education system in India to make it more inclusive, equitable and aligned with the needs of the 21st century and appealed to all the teachings staffs and heads of the institutions under Peren district to impart inclusive and equity education. He further said that education is fundamental for achieving full human potential and is the responsibility of the department. He also spoke on the importance of PM POSHAN centrally sponsored scheme and appealed the teachers to do their best in implementing the schemes. DC further, encouraged the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, National Manager, Allath Santosh and Education department to continue the program to enhance health nutrition.
Short speech was also delivered by Deputy Director, School Education, Avinuo and Chairperson, Peren Town council, Mireulung Sephe while special song was presented by GMS Peren Town and SDEO Tening, Teisi delivered the vote of thanks.
The launching program was attended by Town Councillors, Head Teachers, Principals and representative from various Government Schools under Peren district.
