Under the promotion of Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM), a livelihood support centre and aggregated cum retail shop, which is an initiative of Self Help Group (SHG) was inaugurated on 3rd September 2024 at Wokha by Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Vineet Kumar, IAS. The centre was sponsored by NEEPCO Doyang under CSR.
Addressing during the inaugural programme, the Deputy Commissioner thanked the NEEPCO, Doyang for sponsoring such kind of livelihood initiatives to the rural communities in their venture for economic stability and sustainability. Stating business need continuity and reliability for the costumers to rely on them he urged the organisation to put more effort to connect with the farmers and other supply chains to promote their market and to expand their community.
Short speeches were also delivered by Head of Plan (HOP) NEEPCO, John Zeliang, BPM-NSRLM and representative from State Mission Management Unit-Kohima.
