The Longleng District Task Force on Immunization conducted a meeting on 30th October 2024 at DC office chamber under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and Chairman DTFI Longleng, W Manpai Phom, NCS.
Chairing the meeting the DC reviewed the last meeting minutes held on 30th September 2024 and he emphasised that all line departments and NGOs should take up the task and coordinate as a team to disseminate the importance of VHND, ANC and Immunization to the mothers and the general in public.
DPO (RCH/UIP), Dr. Imtijungshi Aier briefed the members on the completion of RI MICROPLAN and household survey. He also highlighted the members that the VHND action plan was completed and streamlining of the same is being shared to all the health units and the line department. He extended his gratitude to the administration, various line departments and all stakeholders for their continuous support in ensuring success of all the initiatives.
The members discussed about the shortage of Human Resources and it's challenges under Buranamsang Primary Health Centre (PHC). The PHC caters to 8 villages and at present only 1 ANM is posted in the Health Centre. Thus, the ANM could not able to cover all the villages and provide the services as required. So the shortage of manpower under Buranamsang PHC was decided to be addressed to higher authority.
The meeting brought together representatives from the District Administration, IPR, CSO's and Medical Department.
