Longleng District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Longleng, W. Manpai Phom, NCS on 19th January 2026 at DPDB hall, Longleng. 

The meeting begins with the introduction of new members followed by review of previous meeting minutes. Discussing on the proposed agenda submitted by the Phom People Council (PPC) for celebrating the 75th Platinum Jubilee of Longleng town in the month of November 2026, the board discussed on the matter and finally agreed to constitute committee members for the preliminary work.

The chairman entrusted the department of Horticulture to present their departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.

The house also discussed preparation of work for the upcoming 77th Republic day celebrations in the district headquarter, and review the work distribution and finalized the work assignment to the various departments. The board also decided to conduct a mass social work on 24th January 2026. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by the chairman.
