District Administration Peren in compliance with the direction of the state government, organized a mass social work across the district on 25th October 2024.

In the District Headquarter, all the Heads of Offices along with their staff actively involved in clearing vegetations, foliages and drainages within their respective office premises and it's surroundings.

At Jalukie town, the drive was carried out effectively with the active involvement of government departments, traders union, churches, schools & colleges and ward councillors & GBs.

Mass social work was also conducted successfully at Tening, Ahthibung and Peren Town with respective administrative heads supervising the work.

Meanwhile, villages across the district also participated in the mass social work with special emphasis on cleaning the highways, main roads and circular roads.
