The Nagaland Police recruitment rally commenced on January 7,2026 at NAPTC, Chumoukedima, for the three districts of Dimapur, Chumoukedima and Niuland marking the beginning of a week-long selection process that will continue till January 13, 2026.

On the first day, all women candidates and Angami male candidates from the three districts participated in the Physical Standard Test, medical examination and Physical Efficiency Test. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill the Constable (General Duty) posts in Nagaland Police.

The rally began with verification of documents followed by physical and medical screening tests.

The state government and the Police Department have reiterated their commitment to ensuring a transparent, fair and merit-based recruitment process. Necessary security and administrative measures have been put in place to ensure smooth functioning throughout the recruitment period.

The recruitment rally will culminate on January 13, 2026, after which candidates qualifying the physical stages will proceed to the written examination and interview as per the notified schedule.
