Naga Darts Championship 2024 organized by Nagaland Darts Association was held on 14th and 15th September 2024 at La Colline Resort, Kohima.
The Nagaland Darts Championship (NDC) is a flagship event of the Nagaland Darts Association, designed to bring together the best darts players under one unified platform to encourage competition and elevate the level of play among Naga dart players. The darts community embraces the NDC as a valuable opportunity to showcase their skills against the top players from across the state, helping to prepare them for national and international competitions. This event will provide a platform for players to shine while fostering a competitive spirit and mental resilience for future challenges.
All together 36 participants took part including 12 new player in rookie category. The inaugural game of the tournament was kicked off by MLA, Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhutso and he also launched the jerseys for 6 members players of Naga Darts team who will be participating at Malayasia Open tournament 2024 at Kuala Lumpur(Malaysia) from 27th -29th September 2024.
Day 1 witnessed the Open Singles and Rookie category game where all players showed their resilience and determination to clinch the prestigious NDA Championship 2024. Along with the singles games, doubles games followed with much enthusiasm and determinations from the players and the final event following is yet to witness a spectacle with players performing as good as international players.
NDA is grateful and hopeful that the future of Darts in Nagaland is bright.
