Under the directive of Nagaland Fire & Emergency Service, the Fire Station Kiphire is observing National Fire Service Week, commenced on 14th April 2025 and will culminate on 20th April 2025, under the theme "Unite to ignite, a Fire Safe India ".
This initiative aims to heighten awareness regarding fire safety and fire prevention. The week will pay tribute to the courageous fire fighters who sacrificed their lives to protect others and property.
The commemoration parade will also honour the 66 fire fighters who perished in the 1944 explosion at Victoria Dock, Mumbai and observed 1 minute silent prayer in remembrance to the Martyrs of the Fire service personnel in the country.
The Fire personnel Kiphire will commence the week with a cleanliness drive in Main Town, a fire evacuation drill at ZPC College, and a live demonstration at Delux Point on 17th April 2025.
