Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) organised the 2nd NCA achievers night at Town hall zone Naithu, Chumoukedima on 20th September 2024.

Kvulo Lorin, Chairman NIDC & Director, Testo College, while speaking on the event as Special Guest stated that there were times not even a single cricket ground where there in the state but fortunately at present there are three cricket ground and many practice pitches are coming up in the state. He asserted that it is because of the enormous thought, planning and works that have been invested not only from the sportspersons but also from the people who laid the foundation for cricket game in the state and thanked the Chief Minister, Nephieu Rio who is also the chief patron of the NCA.

The present cricket team is not only making marks nationally but also dominating in so many categories while giving opportunities to the women's cricket stated Lorin. Comparing to any other sports in Nagaland Lorin said, cricketers should lead the way and if they can succeed they will paved the path for every other sports association to look for sports as professional career.

Individuals and teams awards for the tenure 2023-2024 were presented to under-15 players, under -16 players, under -19 players and under 23- players (both men and women).

Earlier, Hyunilo Anilo Khing, Secretary NCA gave the opening remarks while Tinaliu enthralled the gathering with a special song. The program was host by Dr. Nitin Agarwal, Member Cricket, Advisory Sub- Committee, NCA and Benjamin Merry, Member Cricket Advisory Sub- Committee, NCA delivered the words of gratitude.
