The newly constructed office building of the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Office (SDAO) was inaugurated by Mhathung Yanthan, MLA & Advisor, Department of Agriculture, on January 27 at Pungro Town. The inaugural program was attended by government officials, and NGOs.

In his inaugural speech, Mhathung Yanthan congratulated the department on the successful completion of the new office building. He also appreciated the cooperation between the general public and the department, and expressed confidence in the potential of the region, citing the unity, enthusiasm and hard work of the people.

Advisor, Home Guards and Civil Defence, Fire and Emergency Services, S. Kiusumew Yimchunger in his brief speech, lauded the initiative and emphasized the importance of empowering the agricultural community.

President of Pungro Public Front, Kongsu also spoke, expressing gratitude and hope for the positive impact the facility would bring to the farmers of the sub-division.

The event was chaired by Rokhwetsholo Kapfo, SDAO Pungro, and the program concluded with a vote of thanks by Akumtoshi, Agriculture Officer of SDAO office, Pungro.
