The Police Recruitment Rally for Zunheboto district commenced on January 7 at the Police Reserve Ground, DEF Zunheboto. A total of 2,648 candidates participated in the recruitment process, competing for 102 posts.
Out of the total candidates, 2,397 are male and 251 are female. According to Superintendent of Police, Zunheboto Kupe Kapfo, out of the 102 posts available, 90 posts are reserved for male candidates and 12 posts are reserved for female candidates.
On the first day of the rally, the initial batch of 750 candidates underwent the Physical Efficiency and Medical Tests. The recruitment rally is scheduled to be conducted over four days, from January 7 to January 10, 2026.
Candidates who qualify the physical and medical examinations will be eligible to appear for the written examination, which is scheduled to be held on January 20, 2026, at Government Higher Secondary School, Zunheboto.
The recruitment drive has witnessed enthusiastic participation from aspirants across the district, reflecting strong interest in joining the police force.
