The Pathkind Collection Center was launched in Mon town on 5th April 2025, to provide easy access to healthcare diagnostics for the population of Mon district. This Center is in collaboration between Pathkind Laboratory, a National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) accredited lab, and Eastern Diagnostic Center, Mon town.
The Center was launched by MLA, Mankhao Konyak in the presence of CL John, Minister of Environment, Forests & Climate Change; Konngam Konyak, Advisor Treasuries & Accounts and Art & Culture; Nyamnyei Konyak, MLA and Manpon Konyak, MLA. Wennyei Konyak, Resident Commissioner, New Delhi, Dr. Hentok Phom, Joint Director and State Nodal Officer (Health & Family Welfare), New Delhi and Dr. Supongmenla Walling, CMO, Mon district also graced the function.
Some key features of Pathkind Collection Center are – it is accredited by NABL, ensuring high standards in diagnostic services. The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art machines and staffed by certified pathologists and technicians. Pathkind will offer various health check-up packages, including specialized tests in oncology, neurology, gynecology, nephrology, and more. The Lab will also provide home collection services for patient’s convenience.
The Center aims to improve healthcare accessibility in Mon district by providing high-quality diagnostic services, reducing the need for patients to travel to higher centers for medical care.
